Opening Ceremony & Birthday

Today we begin the celebration for five years since the Park opening with a special ceremony. Then in September,
we have a special day to commemorate that special day in 2001. It began cloudy and humid to welcome the crowds. During the
opening day ceremony, Michael Eisner, Roy Disney Jr. and Toshio Kagami gave speeches to official open the Park.
Just then, the clouds separated and the skies opened to a beautiful bright sun. Since then, the Park has seen
millions of guests come through its gates and has hosted a variety of wonderful shows and events. We'll feature
some of the sights and sounds to pay tribute to the most successful "second gate" Disney theme park in the world!
