BACKGROUND STORY
Since this show is a tribute to Disneyland Park's 50th Annivesary celebrations, we're at Big D's
drive-in diner in 1955 Southern Calfornia. Goofy runs the place and is getting ready for the kids
from Disney High School to come in and hang out. The golden oldies are playing and there is a big
jukebox in the center back of the stage. Goofy listens to the radion and dances with a mop before
he gets interrupted.
SHOW DESCRIPTION
Mickey and friends arrive in their cool cars and park along the diner. Max wants to play music but the jukebox is broken, so they try to make the most of it. By tapping on it, the jukebox changes records and the Disney High kids dance to the various tunes.
Next, motorcycles are heard as the Big Bad Wolf, Gaston and Cruella DeVille show up and crash the dance party. They bully the students and Minnie wants them out! Gaston, with an eye on Mickey's cool red car, says that if they race and lose, they will leave the students alone. Mickey accepts. Gaston and the BBWolf say they have a secret weapon, special oil, to help them beat Mickey. Just as they are about to start the race, Goofy notices a can of chocolate syrup missing in the diner. The race begins!
Chip 'n Dale and Clarice sing songs to support the racers while Minnie leads the cheers. Max is with Mickey reporting what is happening around the Plaza. He says that BBWolf and his cycle gang are getting in the way of Mickey's car; they cannot get through. At about the halfway point, Gaston's car heats up and stalls. He notices that they used chocolate instead of the special oil. The Three Little Pigs show up to repair the car. Gaston and Cruella steal the Pigs' car and run off! Well that car is way too slow and soon Mickey shows up and takes the lead! Eventually, the Pigs' car, Minnie's car, and Lilo's car all pass them up! And that's how they end up.
After they all return to Big D's, they celebrate and finally Gaston and the gang show up. Mickey and Minnie realize they all have a love for cars, rock 'n roll, dancing and dating! So they ask Gaston and Cruella and BBWolf to join them. Everyone dances for the finale and then drives off at the end!
